1975

PT. SINAR GLORIA ABADI was established in 1975. From a humble beginning in a small warehouse located at the backyard, Soenaryo family was equipped only with 2 machines to create white, red, blue, yellow and green raffia strings branded as "Tawon". Afterwards, PT. SINAR GLORIA ABADI continued to produce grey raffia string to target the lower economic market, branded as "Jangkar".

1985

After 10 years in the industry, it started to expand and became more profitable. Tawon and Jangkar raffia strings are now the well known brands in West Java and Semarang. Besides improving their professional performance, the change was driven by great market opportunity to produce ropes products made from yarn.

1990

In 1990, the company registered as PTY Ltd (Proprietary Limited) and was renamed as PT. SINAR GLORIA ABADI with the three siblings as the shareholders. Therefore, PT. SINAR GLORIA ABADI started to produce webbing ropes with other product variations to meet the market's demands.
